Tilly's B-Day Party

Tilly and friends had a GREAT time at her 6th B-Day Party. It was a swimming party with a hot pink, black, and white theme to match her NEW room.(I will post pictures of her room when I get everything on the walls) She got a NEW bike from Grandaddy and Uncle Newt, DVD's from Cricket, lots of Barbie's from her friends, STUFF for her room, and her BIG present was concert tickets to go and see her FAVORITE singer.....Taylor Swift.....Sept. 25th.

End of SUMMER Fun!!!!

So I looked out my window into the backyard and I see Tilly, up on the fence with a water hose, spraying it into the neighbors yard. Apparently, her and the neighbor boys decided to have a water fight. It was sooooo FUNNY!!! Tilly and her friend were laughing and giggling and getting all wet. The girls WON, of course!!!! And by the way, Tilly started it!!!

LOVIN' Alexa

So Alexa, my GREAT niece, came to visit. We had such a wonderful time. Tilly LOVED having a BIG sister for a week and Alexa was such a huge help!!! We can not wait to have her again, next summer.

Tilly's Room

So we had 2 goals this summer....empty out the upstairs gameroom that had a million boxes in it (which we did or should I say...Stanton...mostly) and decorate Tilly's NEW room upstairs. (Which I am working on) her room will be hot pink, black, and white. I have been working on a dresser for her and can see the light with it being ALMOST finished. Here is a sneak peek of the drawers and door. More pictures to come....SOON of the finished dresser. I'm also including the fabric that her curtains and bedding will be made out of.

Headshots

Well we had a FABULOUS day!!! Tilly took her modeling headshots and WOW is all I can say. The photographer was AMAZING!!! She does not normally do this but she took 800 pictures of Tilly....this is a sneak peak of only 5.....I can't imagine what all of the others will look like!!! Tilly did FANTASTIC!!!!! I am truely AMAZED by Tilly and still to this day can not believe that she is MINE!!! I'm so blessed!!!!

Highlights

For those of you that don't know...Tilly has been signed by a Modeling/Talent Agency here in Dallas. Tilly is not fully aware of what that means exactly but we are all very excited about this new adventure. We have to have professional headshots done next weekend...we were asked to consider highlighting Tilly's hair because the top is ALOT darker than the bottom.. Today we took the plunge....Mom and Dad were both nervous but we found a WONDERFUL hair dresser that did a fantastic job. You can't tell that her hair was colored...everything blended so well. You won't be able to tell from the pictures but it looks AWESOME!!! Tilly LOVED every minute of her first "SALON" experience. On a funny note when I told Mim that Tilly was having headshots done next weekend Tilly proclaimed "I don't want headshots!!" When I asked her if she know what that meant, she said, "Yes, it means you are going to shoot my head off!" LOL

We had a "Field Day" at school were the kids got to play games and have FUN all day. Tilly had a GREAT time with all her friends.
